Being well-prepared for the appointment provides our dentist with all the needed information to provide the best possible care. It also helps relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling.
We spend extra time on this first visit getting to know our patients and reviewing past medical and dental history. This helps us properly diagnose any immediate dental concerns, and create a care plan for optimal dental health.
We’ll complete a thorough comprehensive dental evaluation, and work out a schedule to meet your dental goals while keeping your mouth happy and healthy.
The Initial Visit
The initial appointment usually consists of x-rays, professional cleaning, oral examination, and cancer screening, a review of your dental needs and concerns, and a discussion of treatment options.
Patients are requested to complete our online patient forms prior to the visit. Download them from our Patient Connect Portal, and bring the completed forms to the visit or arrive a few minutes before to fill them out.
Please assist us by providing the following information before or on the first visit—any x-rays taken by a previous dentist, a list of current medications, any completed insurance forms, or ID cards. This saves time and allows us to process any claims efficiently.
